Die Cut Studio (www.diecutstudio.com) is a free, in-browser dieline and box-template generator. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no payments. This page explains what data the site uses and why.

Your designs stay in your browser

The templates you design, the sizes you type and any images you add are processed on your own device. Your last design is saved in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back. None of it is uploaded to us, and you can clear it at any time with "Reset to defaults" in the editor or by clearing your browser's site data.

Usage analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, which templates are opened and exported, page-load performance, and errors. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in a cookie or local storage. It records general information such as your browser, device type and approximate country (derived from your IP address); we do not collect your name or email address. We use this only to improve the site and do not sell it.

Advertising

Some pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Other services the site uses

• Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
• Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the editor keeps working without them.
• Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or tracking-protection features, or an ad blocker.
• Opt out of personalized ads as described above.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
